This is NOT a certificate course. This is an entry level course for birth workers with some birth experience, with practice assignments to gain skills and competency in basic assessments, charting, and knowledge.
This course is a self study guide to the specific knowledge, resources, and “how to”,
to gain the skills necessary to work as a homebirth assistant or monitrice.
Practicing skills, obtaining NRP and BLS requirements, and researching the information offered, is up to the enrollee.
This will cover subjects such as
